I bought both colors. I don't know why anyone would call them cheap looking but they are NOT compression. However they look great, feel great and really wick moisture. Looks new (like all their new activewear) wash after wash after wash.

PS I hoped they would would also work as a warm underlayer.- not so much. Sticking to the silk.

FINALLY! These leggings are so great! They are super comfortable and warm. GREAT even for venturing out in Wisconsin winter. They were so great that I ordered more in several other colors. I did reorder in a smaller size, though, and a petite since I'm on the short side (5'4). The regular rise was a little high and inseam a little long for me. Please keep these around forever! I will need more next year!!!!!!!!!!!

I have four pair of these tights and really like them... Very comfortable and great for working out or just hanging out at home. They wash really well. I also bought a pair of Patagonia tights for 2x the price and they are only slightly nicer (thicker band around the waist prevents the band from rolling down). For the money I think these are a really good buy.

I bought the Lands End compression tights when they were available, and I love them. I thought the word "Power" in the title suggested compression, but that's not the case. These are very thin and very cheap-looking. Definitely not the quality I've come to expect from Lands End.
