Boys' Reversible Belt

Black on one side, brown on the other — this could be the only belt he'll need for school. Classic buckle with nickel finish swivels to the correct side for wear. 1 3/8" wide. 100% polyurethane is durable. Imported.

Buckle tears away from belt

We're on our 2nd reversible belt. I returned the 1st one to the Sears store due to the 2 screws pulling out of the belt. Our 2nd one lasted about a year - with VERY little use - and now the 2 screws have once again pulled out of the belt. We have tried repairs, but it will not stay put. We will be returning this belt to the store once again and looking for a different belt.

Fell apart after one week

We bought the belt a month before school as a part of his school dress uniform. The picture on the website is NOT the belt that is shipped. Plus it fell apart after the first WEEK of school. Invest your dollars in a better LEATHER belt elsewhere.

Screws in swivel part of buckle tends to tear at faux leather

I love the idea of two belts in one, and my 5-yr-old son loves this belt. We bought it in Sept. of 2011, he wears it mainly just to church on Sundays, and it finally COMPLETELY fell apart in Feb. of 2013. The two tiny screws tear at the leather over time, causing the screws to loosen and let go, or tear all the way through the leather, making the belt un-usable. I have had to repair it three times on my own, being able to fit the leather back into the buckle, tighten the screws and keep it going, but it finally did tear all the way through. The reasons I'm recommending this product are because Lands' End will replace it if this happens, and because the belt has come in handy since we can reverse the color to match shoes, etc., AND it does look quite nice and is easy for my son to handle on his own. I just hope the replacement holds up better than the first one. Now that I know about this I can perhaps teach my son not to pull on the leather when swiveling, but to hold only the buckle so the leather will last longer.
